The next installation in our 2025 season will be an exploration of the naturalistic beauty found in the works of Kathy Myers Reece, Erin Hughes, and Nathan & Mariella Favors. On view from June 25th through July 19th, this show examines the many organic forms found in nature through the different lenses and mediums of these gifted artists.
Whether you’re a fan of landscapes, still life, or functional dimensional decor, everyone can fall in love with these artists interpretation of the natural world.
Kathy Myers Reece’s oil paintings are as beautiful as they are lively, bringing a special brightness to her subjects of florals, animals, and landscapes. Myers Reece’s paintings evoke a sentimentality as well as a delightfulness as the connection between nature and beauty are explored.
Nathan & Mariella Favors deliver a mesmerizing duet in their collaborative pieces. Nathan’s wood turning, coupled with Mariella’s meticulously chosen decorative elements, infuses their work with a profound sense of fortitude and an undeniable gracefulness. Our audience is bound to be inspired and rejuvenated by the exceptional skill displayed.
Erin Hughes work is created through an assemblage of encaustic, and oils, with each inch methodically filled to create a memorable scene. Viewers are able to experience the synastry between nature and art, with one breathing its inspiration into the other within Hugh’s work.
These artists, working together, create a chorus of visual expression that celebrates the beauty of nature and the harmonious connection between the natural art and worlds.
