Walter Stanford

Admiring the portraits of Rembrandt and how he used light, Stanford envisioned doing something similar with animals. He paints wildlife, especially raptor portraits and with a desire to portray them as up close and personal.

As Walter states, “I want to bring that animal into a person’s home!”
